BRIEF:

Full page lettering piece for a wine magazine, using the phrase “Champagne Thoughts” for a spread on the best champagnes available at different price points.

SOLUTION:

I began sketching out concepts, revising and refining, with the goal of creating an elegant piece of lettering that was consistent with the magazines brand.

Once I had finalised the sketch, I created a digital vector version which was then developed further, through image manipulation to turn the letters into flowing champagne. The goal was to capture motion within a still image and reflect the excitement of popping open a new bottle.
